By downloading, installing, purchasing, activating, or using AnswerDesk AI, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Product Description


AnswerDesk AI is a Windows desktop application designed to support realtime voice workflows using user-selected AI providers and user-owned provider credentials.


The product may include features such as realtime voice interaction, provider configuration, local application settings, scenario-based assistance, audio output controls, licensing, trial activation, and support tools.


3. License Grant


When you purchase AnswerDesk AI, you receive a perpetual license to use the purchased version of the software.


This means the license for the purchased version does not expire.


The license allows you to install and use AnswerDesk AI according to the plan, license type, and usage limits that apply to your purchase.


4. Ownership


Purchasing AnswerDesk AI gives you the right to use the software. It does not transfer ownership of the software.


IT Professional retains all rights, title, and interest in AnswerDesk AI, including:


software code

application design

product name

branding

logos

documentation

website content

features

workflows

intellectual property

future versions

related materials


You may not claim ownership of AnswerDesk AI or any part of its intellectual property.


5. Updates and Upgrades


A purchased license applies to the version of AnswerDesk AI purchased.


Minor updates, maintenance releases, bug fixes, or compatibility updates may be provided at our discretion.


Major upgrades, new editions, premium features, support plans, commercial extensions, cloud services, or future product versions may require a separate purchase.


A perpetual license does not guarantee free access to all future major versions, upgrades, or new product editions.


6. Trial Licenses


AnswerDesk AI may offer a free trial or limited-time evaluation license.


Trial licenses may have time limits, feature limits, activation limits, or other restrictions.


We may modify, suspend, or discontinue trial offers at any time.


Using a trial license does not guarantee eligibility for future free access.


7. License Key and Activation


You are responsible for keeping your license key secure.


You may not share, resell, publish, distribute, or misuse license keys.


We may suspend or revoke a license if we detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized sharing, chargeback abuse, license tampering, or violation of these terms.


8. User-Owned AI Provider Credentials


AnswerDesk AI is designed to work with AI providers configured by the user.


You are responsible for:


creating your own AI provider account

entering your own API keys or credentials

managing provider costs

reviewing provider terms and privacy policies

complying with provider usage rules

securing your provider credentials


AnswerDesk AI does not include third-party AI provider usage costs unless explicitly stated in a separate written offer.


9. Third-Party AI Providers


AnswerDesk AI may connect to third-party AI providers such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or other supported providers.


When you use a third-party AI provider, your audio, text, prompts, instructions, session data, and related content may be processed by that provider.


We do not control third-party AI provider systems, pricing, availability, data handling, model behavior, outages, latency, or policy changes.


You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the terms of any third-party provider you use.


10. Audio and Realtime Sessions


AnswerDesk AI supports realtime voice workflows and desktop audio-related functionality.


You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process any audio, conversation, meeting, media, or content used with the product.


Do not use AnswerDesk AI to process sensitive, confidential, regulated, or personal information unless you understand the risks and have appropriate authorization, safeguards, and provider agreements in place.


11. Acceptable Use


You agree not to use AnswerDesk AI to:


violate laws or regulations

infringe intellectual property rights

record, process, or transmit audio without proper permission

abuse, disrupt, or overload systems

attempt to bypass licensing or activation controls

reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software except where allowed by law

resell or redistribute the software without written permission

use the software for harmful, deceptive, illegal, or unauthorized activity

upload or process data you are not allowed to use


12. Restrictions


You may not:


copy or redistribute the installer except as expressly allowed

sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer the software license without written permission

remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices

modify license controls

use the product name, logo, or branding without permission

create derivative products based on AnswerDesk AI without permission

use the product in a way that damages the reputation or operation of AnswerDesk AI or IT Professional


13. Support


We may provide support through the support email or support page.


Support may include help with installation, activation, licensing, provider setup, audio output setup, realtime session controls, and product usage.


Support does not include guaranteed assistance with:


third-party AI provider outages

provider billing issues

unsupported operating systems

custom enterprise integrations

user-created configuration errors outside supported workflows

hardware or audio device problems outside reasonable product guidance

legal, compliance, or regulatory advice


Support availability, response time, and scope may vary by plan, license type, or business arrangement.


14. Payments


Paid licenses must be purchased through the approved purchase process.


Prices, plans, and available license types may change over time.


Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers.


You are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.


15. Refunds


Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy published on our website or provided at the time of purchase.


If no separate written refund terms apply, refund requests are reviewed according to the current Refund Policy.


16. Payment Terms


Payment terms, purchase conditions, license delivery, taxes, chargebacks, renewals, and related commercial terms may be described in the Payment Terms and Conditions page.

17. Product Availability

We are not responsible for third-party provider changes that affect product functionality.


18. No Professional Advice


AnswerDesk AI may provide AI-assisted responses depending on the selected provider and scenario configuration.


The product does not provide legal, medical, financial, compliance, tax, security, or professional advice.


You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on it.


19. AI Output Disclaimer


AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for a specific use case.


You are responsible for validating outputs, especially before using them for business, legal, technical, medical, financial, compliance, or customer-facing decisions.


20. Warranty Disclaimer


AnswerDesk AI is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law.


We do not guarantee that the product will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every system, compatible with every provider configuration, or suitable for every use case.


We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.


21. Limitation of Liability


To the maximum extent permitted by law, IT Professional will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.


This includes loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, provider costs, AI provider charges, system failures, or damages resulting from use or inability to use the product.


Our total liability for any claim related to AnswerDesk AI will not exceed the amount you paid for the license that gave rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.


22. Indemnification


You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IT Professional from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:


your use of AnswerDesk AI

your violation of these terms

your misuse of provider credentials

your processing of audio or content without permission

your violation of third-party provider terms

your violation of applicable law

your use of AI-generated output


23. Termination


We may suspend or terminate your access to AnswerDesk AI, licensing services, updates, or support if you violate these terms.


Termination does not transfer ownership of the software or remove restrictions on copying, redistribution, reverse engineering, or misuse.


If a license is terminated for violation of these terms, you must stop using the software and remove unauthorized copies.


24. Privacy


Your use of AnswerDesk AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy.


The Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use, store, and protect information related to the website, licensing, support, provider configuration, and product usage.


25. Changes to These Terms


We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.

Continued use of AnswerDesk AI after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
